As a UI/UX Designer at Jamroll Studio, you will take a central role in shaping the digital experiences we craft for our clients. You will lead design initiatives across a diverse portfolio of projects, from discovery and research to high-fidelity delivery while working in close collaboration with our content, branding, and development teams. This role is ideal for a designer who is deeply passionate about their craft, stays ahead of emerging trends, and is committed to continuous learning and growth.
What You'll Do:
Lead the end-to-end design process from user research, wireframing, and prototyping to high-fidelity visual design and usability testing.
Collaborate closely with content, branding, and development teams to ensure cohesive, on-brand, and technically feasible design outcomes.
Communicate with clients at necessary phases of a project to gather requirements, present design directions, and incorporate feedback effectively.
Work with developers to ensure accurate and seamless implementation of designs across platforms.
Leverage AI tools and workflows to enhance design efficiency, explore generative design possibilities, and deliver higher-quality output at scale.
Develop and maintain a strong UI/UX creative portfolio for the company, showcasing our capabilities and design philosophy to clients and partners.
Conduct user research, synthesize insights, and translate findings into actionable design decisions that address real user needs.
Build and maintain comprehensive design systems, style guides, and interaction guidelines that ensure consistency across all products.
Create and manage UI/UX documentation including design specifications, user flows, and component documentation.
Proactively stay up to date with the latest developments in AI, design tools, interaction trends, and industry best practices and share those insights with the team.
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Design, Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, or equivalent) is a plus. However, strong hands-on experience and a demonstrated skill set are valued above formal qualifications.
Skills and Experience:
1 to 3 years of professional UI/UX design experience across digital products (web, mobile, or SaaS).
Advanced proficiency in Figma and other prototyping and design tools, with a strong command of component-based design workflows.
Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design patterns.
Strong knowledge of responsive design and experience designing across multiple platforms and screen sizes.
Practical experience with AI design tools and a genuine curiosity for integrating AI into design processes to increase quality and efficiency.
Ability to contribute to and develop the company’s visual design language, including managing portfolio assets and case studies that represent Jamroll Studio’s work.
A collaborative team mentality comfortable working across disciplines, open to feedback, and committed to shared success.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to cross-functional teams and clients.
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, adapt to shifting priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
