Project Overview:

Textile Hack is a nationwide hackathon to engage students in developing innovative solutions and leading the circular revolution in Bangladesh's RMG industry. Organized by Bangladesh Apparel Exchange (BAE), BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT), and the University of Groningen, the hackathon aimed to introduce students to the circular challenges and opportunities and develop young leaders who can develop practical solutions for a circular fashion future.

Branding & Design

By arranging the dots and "bridges" into a 3x3 grid, the logo of the Textile Hack cleverly hides the brand's initials: “T” and “H”. The "bridges" between the dots also symbolize the collaborative nature of the initiative, which brings together students, global universities, and industry experts.
The brand colors are a warm gradient of yellow and orange, representing energy, creativity, and the "spark" of new ideas, which aligns with the platform's role as a catalyst for innovation.

UI/UX Design and Development

We designed the website as a high-engagement landing page and registration portal tailored for its student and innovator audience. The UI/UX strategy reflects its nature as a fast-paced "hackathon" focused on circularity and technical innovation. The website's interface is built to be modern, vibrant, and mission-driven, aligning with its "Lead the Circular Revolution" branding.

digital presence

As a hackathon, one of the primary concerns was engagement. We strategically crafted their digital presence to engage a youthful, innovation-driven audience of students and sustainability professionals across Bangladesh and internationally. We ensured that their social media had the strongest digital footprint, using it as a main engagement engine to attract students from all over the country.

Event Direction

Setting the event direction for this hackathon was about designing a strategic "arc" that moves participants from understanding a problem to building a viable solution. We provided end-to-end services, and designed every single material for the hackathon including notebook, tote bag, pens, T-shirt, banner, key visuals, one pagers, ID and more.
